The Pakistan Advertising Association (PAA) announced the results of its 2026 elections at its 11th Annual General Meeting and named a new 14-member Central Executive Committee (CEC) for 2026–2028.

The new CEC comprises Numan Nabi Ahmed (Chairman), Jawwad Humayun (Senior Vice Chairman), Nida Haider (Vice Chairperson), Javed Qadeer Khan (Chairman, Zone A), Waqar Haideri (Chairman, Zone B), Usman Atique Butt (Chairman, Zone C) and Faheem Ahmed (Finance Secretary). Its other members are Ahmed Jamal Mir, Natasha Durrani, Farhan Khan, Asad Ansari, Tabish Hasan Shah, Khalid Saleem and Athar Saleem.

The meeting approved the agenda circulated in advance. Outgoing Chairman Ahmed Kapadia then briefed members on the outgoing CEC’s initiatives over the past two years. Members gave him a standing ovation for leading the team that built a new, strong brand identity for PAA.

Chairman Numan Nabi Ahmed thanked members for their confidence in him and the new CEC. He said he believes in teamwork, building relationships and learning from experience to plan future action. With this in mind, he proposed an Advisory Group to carry forward the outgoing CEC’s work towards a stronger PAA with clearly defined goals. The house approved the proposal. The group will be led by Ahmed Kapadia as Chairman Emeritus, with Aleem Durrani, Zeeshan Khan and Salman Mansur as members. The Chairman thanked the Advisory Group and the outgoing CEC and asked the new CEC to cooperate fully with the group.

He said the CEC will work with the Advisory Group on a regulatory framework for new membership and inter-agency relationships. Sub-committees will be formed shortly, and the Secretariat will share the details with members. Zonal Chairmen will play a key role in growing membership and in liaising with their respective information departments to streamline working with agencies.

He also called on all stakeholders, including the government, to work together to create an enabling environment, as businesses face new challenges
