{"id":122,"date":"2023-12-30T10:56:25","date_gmt":"2023-12-30T10:56:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wattech.com.pk\/?p=122"},"modified":"2023-12-30T10:56:25","modified_gmt":"2023-12-30T10:56:25","slug":"portal-for-banking-complaints-launched","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/wattech.com.pk\/index.php\/2023\/12\/30\/portal-for-banking-complaints-launched\/","title":{"rendered":"Portal for banking complaints launched"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KARACHI: (Web News) The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) has launched a customer complaint service portal and app \u2014 Sunwai \u2014 to facilitate banking customers in lodging their grievances against financial service providers.<\/p>\n<p>Sunwai would serve as a one-window operation for banking customers to register their complaints against banks, microfinance banks (MFBs), and development financial institutions (DFIs) operating in Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p>The portal was launched in continuation of ongoing efforts to strengthen the banking sector\u2019s efficiency and fairness in complaints handling and to address the issues faced by banking customers in complaints lodgment, the central bank said in a circular on Friday.<\/p>\n<p>Now, customers can lodge their complaints rela\u00adted to any banking product or service, including Roshan Digital Acco\u00adunts (RDA) through Sun\u00adwai for their timely resolution.<\/p>\n<p>Sunwai\u2019 is accessible through web browser as well as through mobile application, both at Android and iOS. Registered users can lodge complaints at their convenience in either English or Urdu languages.
